■ The characteristics of the principal international spirits and liqueurs
■ The major global spirits brands
■ Tutored tastings of around 40 spirits and liqueurs
■ How to describe spirits using the WSET Level 2 Systematic Approach to Tasting Spirits® (SAT)
This qualification has a minimum requirement of 26 hours of study time, including 14 hours of classroom.
Assessment is by a closed-book exam of 50 multiple-choice questions.
There are no entry requirements for this qualification. You must be of legal drinking age to participate in any alcohol tasting. However, this is not a barrier to successfully completing the qualification.
How much does it cost?
The cost includes all study materials, spirit samples, tuition, examination and postage.
